Excellent work by Andrew! He worked on my washer. My washer was showing the UB error code, which was annoying. He came out, checked the washer, and found that the suspension rods were worn out. He ordered the part and came back the next day to install it. The washer works brand new. I recommend them. They are fast, affordable, and honest.

Great fast service, easy to schedule! Messaged via Yelp on a Thursday, appt Fri AM, parts ordered and fixed by Mon AM. Andrew did the inspection of a washer that was shaking and found worn out shock absorbers. Note, I had a different appliance repair company come and did not find anything wrong on inspection, which did not seem right. Thanks Andrew for finding and fixing the issue, very professional!

The best!! It was so straight forward to communicate with this team, my questions were answered, and a rough estimate was given so there were no big surprises. Andrew was super nice and helpful. Overall service took about 2-3 business days to review the issue, get parts ordered, then another visit to repair/replacement of the shocks. Timeline made sense for us since the washer wasn't unusable. Andrew definitely knew what he was doing and explained to us the process along the way. Under 10 years old, repair almost always makes sense. A belt, fuse, pump, switch, or heating element is worth doing on any machine that's otherwise sound. Past 10 years, a control board, drive motor, or transmission is where we'll usually tell you to put the money toward a new machine instead. The rule of thumb: if the repair runs more than half the cost of a comparable new unit, replace it. We give you the number before you decide, and we'll tell you honestly when walking away is the better call.

The diagnostic is $65 and it's waived when you approve the repair. A second machine on the same visit is $30. Completed repairs start at $200. Belts, fuses, switches and clogged drains land near that floor. Heating elements, drain pumps, door boots and drum rollers usually run $200-390. Suspension rods, shocks and bearings run $220-400. Control boards, drive motors, and stacked or closet-installed sets are quoted separately after inspection, since board and motor parts vary by model and pulling a stack adds time. These are estimates, not quotes — the final price is confirmed once the technician sees the machine.

Washers run 10 to 14 years and dryers 10 to 13. Dryers usually outlive washers simply because there's less to go wrong. Two things cut that short: overloading, which destroys suspension and bearings, and a neglected vent, which cooks the heating circuit. Clean the vent run every year or two and don't stuff the drum, and a machine will go well past its rated life.

The $65 diagnostic covers a full inspection and a firm written price before any work begins, and it's waived when you approve the repair. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay the $65 and nothing more. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons on the doorstep.

The drive motor, transmission, and control board, followed by the outer tub and bearing assembly. On a machine past 10 years, that's usually where replacement beats repair. Pumps, boots, suspension rods, belts, valves, and heating elements are the everyday parts, and those are worth fixing on nearly any machine that's otherwise in good shape.
