The range covers the common repair on a freestanding unit. Control boards and drive motors are quoted separately, and board and motor parts vary by model. Stacked and closet-installed sets are quoted after inspection — pulling and restacking adds time to the job.

Under 10 years old, a machine is almost always worth repairing. Past that, we'll tell you straight whether the repair or a new machine is the better use of your money.

About 75-80% of jobs are fixed the same day. If a part like a control board or motor has to be ordered, it usually takes 1-3 business days to arrive. On older models a part can occasionally need a special order from the manufacturer, which is very rare.
